The U16 water polo national team of Montenegro started their performance at the World Championship, which is being held in Malta, with a victory.

In the first round of Group F, Nenad Vukanić's team defeated South Africa 18:6 (5:1, 4:1, 5:3, 4:1), with a dominant game from the start.

Marko Milinić and Petar Brnović were the most effective with three goals each, Luka Todorović, Pavle Dabić, Danilo Savović and Danilo Roganović scored two each, and Stefan Kruta, Andrej Golubović, Luka Dragović and Dimitrije Milić scored one each.

The young sharks will play against Egypt tomorrow from 17:45, and on June 20, from 20:45 against Slovenia.

The first two selections will advance to the round of 16, and the teams from group F will cross with group G, which includes Australia, Canada, Turkey and Croatia.

The round of 16 match is on June 21.
