With three wins in the final series, Vjekoslav Pasković's team outplayed their eternal rival, Jadran from Herceg Novi.

The people of Kotor lifted the championship cup at Škvera, and they celebrated the great feat that had been waiting for sixteen years with their fans in the ancient city.

The champion squad of Primorje represents a combination of youth and experience. In the first part of the season, they were led by Zoran Maslovar, and Pasković, in his first coaching engagement, brought Primorac the long-awaited trophy. The players led by captain Marko Gopčević showed, with good games, determination and strong character.

The swimming and water polo club "Primorac" is owned by the Municipality of Kotor, and the reconstruction of the city pool and the investment of the local government in water polo and sports have already brought results.

The municipality of Kotor congratulates the players, the professional staff and the leadership of Primorje, as well as the faithful Bešti, with the title.
